After School Youth Classes - Bits, Bytes & Bots: 3D Video Game Making with Kodu (Grades 3-5)

Has your child ever wanted to build their own racing game? Here's their chance! Microsoft’s Kodu is a visual programming language (similar to scratch) that is used to create video games. Students will learn the basics of 3D game design by creating multiple games in this class. Conditional formatting will be mastered by the time they build their final project… a serious racing game. When skill behind the wheel isn’t enough, students create power-ups to stun their opponents including ray guns, land mines, force fields and more! This course builds skills by challenging students to analyze a problem and structure their solution. Instruction provided by Bits, Bytes & Bots of San Antonio.
