The Indian Food Diaries: Kitchari
Get ready to inhale aroma and exhale satisfaction! Kitchari is an ancient Ayurvedic rice and bean dish that can be found in Indian kitchens, be it a home, restaurant, workplace, temple or even a palace! This dish is easy to cook and gentle to the digestive system--filling, yet light. You will explore a few variations gathered from various regions; and you will customize your own brand that works for you! Instructor is Raji Kailasam. Bring a to-go container, an apron, cutting board and a $10 supply fee, which is payable to the instructor at the beginning of class.
