ALIR - Current Issues in Nutrition

This course is a detailed overview of nutrients followed by discussion of current nutrition issues. We will address the use of supplements, food additives, phytochemicals, probiotics, food labeling, food safety, dietary guidelines and food production. The course concludes with discussion of nutrition and chronic diseases.
