Youth & Teen Classes - Jr. Scientist’s Workshop (Ages 7-11)

Does your child enjoy the thrills of science? Then this workshop is for them! Young scientists will learn how electrons create static electricity using a Ven de Graaff generator. They will also experiment with changing solids into gasses and cause physical and chemical reactions in a variety of safe hands-on activities. As an extra bonus, the class will get to witness a live frog dissection! Instruction provided by former science teacher, and science enthusiast, John MacLaren. All supplies are included.
