Computer Skills - Microsoft® Word®, Intermediate - Online

This class expands upon the lessons learned in the Word® beginners course. Students will learn shortcuts on working more efficiently in Word® to help boost confidence in preparing professional documents. Learn how to work with template building blocks called Quick Parts that will help shorten the document writing time. You will work with Styles to allow formatting consistency and greater control. Explore how Inserting reference links helps with reader navigation. You will discover how mail merges work with preparing letters and mailing labels for bulk recipients. Students will need to have Microsoft® Word® 2016 or higher. This is a distance learning class held through Zoom. Instructions for logging into Zoom will be emailed by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. Instructor, Steve Chase.
