Based on the Teaching Company DVD "The Other Side of History", this course focuses on what life was like for Medieval period people as an Anglo-Saxon, a Viking raider, a Crusader, a knight, or a pilgrim. the lectures by Dr. Robert Garland will be supplemented by additional material from the instructor's research.
