Health & Wellness - Mindful Living - Mindfulness and Peace Gardens

Would you like to learn more about mindfulness and find ways to nurture self compassion and ease overwhelming feelings? If so, this workshop is for you. You will learn ways to decrease stress and thrive in your daily life. Explore mindfulness through engaging, fun and multi-sensory exercises. You will be led through mindful breathing and other activities that calm the nervous system, relax the mind and encourage overall well-being. You will walk away with techniques and strategies that you can immediately begin to integrate into daily living. The workshop will include individual, pair and group exercises. Instructor Carrie Edmond, is a NEISD Counselor, Mindful School curriculum instructor and has her M.A. in counseling. A $10 supply fee is payable to the instructor at the beginning of class.
