The Indian Food Diaries: Bring on the Coconut
Coconut is all the craze! Discover the intricacies of this beautiful fruit in this session of The Indian Food Diaries. You will receive your own coconut and practice breaking, scraping and creating various dishes. You will learn how to make coconut gravies with vegetables, roast and prepare a variety of coconut chutneys and how to extract coconut milk to make Jaggery, an Indian molasses. Instructor, Raji Kailasam. Bring a to-go container, cutting board, apron, hand towel, knives and a $10 supply fee, which is payable to the instructor at the beginning of class.
