ALIR - From Roman Order to Barbarian Chaos, Part I

Rome was first to unify Europe in 27 B.C. With a naval battle at Actium, Octavius, Julius Caesar's nephew, became the first emperor of Rome, This course traces the evolution of the first union of Europe and the development of a unified Western Europe. Roads, naval power, a common language and a universal religion by 400 A.D. have contributed to the essence of Europe to this day.
