Home & Garden - Organic Gardening - Does it Really Make a Difference?

The use of organic and natural materials for fertilization and disease and insect control is increasing. Reducing or eliminating use of chemical pesticides or controlling insects and diseases leads to a cleaner environment and a healthier food supply. Some organic processes will include planting only healthy, disease resistant varieties; controlling insects using biological controls and natural products; rotating garden areas; encouraging natural insect predators, composting, mulching, pollination and watering. Instructor is Dr. Tom Harris.
