Home & Garden - Terrarium Gardening - Online

Do you love plants, but not the Texas heat? How about indoor gardening with a terrarium? Terrariums are easy to design, require little maintenance and are a great way to incorporate plants into any home decor. In this class, you will build a tabletop garden inspired by your own imagination. You will learn the basics of terrarium making, plant selection and care. Marianne Rodriguez owns Whimsical Fairy Gardens and has been gardening for over 20 years. The deadline for registration will be on Tuesday, September 22 at 4:00 P.M. This is a distance learning class held through Zoom. Instructions for logging into Zoom will be emailed by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. A $30 supply fee is payable to the instructor at the time of supply pick up on Wednesday, September 23 at the Community Learning Center from 5:00 – 6:15 p.m. The supply fee covers the cost of an 8" glass container, activated filtering charcoal, decorative sand, rocks, pebbles or pea gravel, plants, moss and potting soil.
