Culinary Arts - Fresh, Healthy & Fast Hawaiian Poke

Come take a journey to the Hawaiian islands with Chef Rodrigo Sosa as you uncover the beauty of poke. In this hands-on class, you will learn how to prepare healthy, fresh and fast Hawaiian-style poke. You will learn how to dice and marinate your fish, mix up recipes and create different types of sauces. You will enjoy making three varieties including the Shoyu Ahi Poke, Salmon Avocado Poke, and Green Papaya, Quinoa and Tuna Poke. The deadline for registration will be on Friday, July 10. This is a distance learning class held through Zoom. Instructions for logging into Zoom will be emailed by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. A $15 supply fee is payable to the instructor at the time of supply pick up on Monday, July 14 at the Community Learning Center from 4:45 – 5:15 p.m.
