Language & Communication - Beginning French

The focus of this introductory course is the acquisition of “survival French”- being able to ask for and understand directions to various places, to order food in a restaurant and other useful phrases perfect for traveling to French speaking countries. The textbook, “Practice Makes Perfect: Basic French" by Elaine Kurbegov will be used as a support tool throughout the course. Instructor Raphael Choury is a near native speaker from Germany and holds a Master’s degree in French from the University of Mainz, Germany.
