Youth & Teen Classes - Athletic Development: Strength & Speed (Ages 10-12)

Uplifted Performance and Fitness offers students the chance to enhance fundamental athletic skills through development of speed and strength. Age-appropriate challenge activities are facilitated using agility ladders, hurdles, cones and medicine balls that will increase agility and power and help them excel in organized sports or other physical activities. Instructors will focus on a positive attitude, teamwork, leadership and helping others which young athletes can take with them beyond the training and into the home, classroom, playground and team sports settings. All participants will be required to wear athletic shoes (no sandals/flip-flops/heeled shoes or boots will be allowed to play for safety reasons). Students should bring a personal water bottle to class each. All fitness equipment will be provided.
