Athletic Strength & Speed Training (Ages 7-12)
Uplifted Performance and Fitness helps enhance athleticism through the development of speed and agility as well as enhancement of reaction, explosiveness and power to optimize performance. Athletes are challenged to increase movement, efficiency and technique (lateral, linear and multi-directional movement). Focus areas include acceleration, deceleration, plyometrics, change-of-direction and power training. Classes will also include competitive drills and challenges including ladders, cones, resistance equipment, hurdles, medicine balls and weights. Students should bring a water bottle and athletic shoes to each class.
