Health & Wellness - Therapeutic Yoga

Learn the eight limbs of classical yoga based on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Practice the 26 original asanas to improve muscle tone, flexibility, alignment, balance and concentration. The exercises will include relaxation routines, mindfulness, energy centers (Chakras) and gland activation. The importance of human experience, perceptions, thought process, feelings, emotions and actions (Karma) will be emphasized. Nurturing the inner spirit, the golden core and the essence of one's being in order to set out the unique life-journey will be reinforced. Modifications will be provided to accommodate your limitations. Interactive guided practice will benefit beginners as well as experienced yoga practictioners. Bring a yoga mat or towel, wear comfortable workout attire and plan to exercise in bare feet.
