Youth & Teen Classes - Art Starz: Animation and Cartoon Drawing (Ages 8-12)

Your child's cartoons will come alive this week with Art Starz. Students will produce large, full-sheet drawings of a pirate ship and its motley crew, big top circus and a jungle scene. Students will brainstorm their way to creating original cartoon characters, a three-panel comic strip and learn how to do word bubbles, inking and add other elements of interest. Students will also enjoy making various handmade (not computer) animation devices as they learn about optical illusions and cartoons. A supply fee of $10 is payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
