Basics of Welding

Learn the basics of welding as you experience arc and MIG welding techniques, as well as cutting with an acetylene/oxygen torch and plasma cutter. Bring a welding helmet and welding gloves, and wear a long sleeve cotton shirt, work boots and jeans without holes. A $30 supply fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. Blown Glass Ornaments

Ornaments aren’t just for the holidays. They can add a pop of color to your living space or you can display them on your porch. You will have fun in this hands-on class learning how to blow your own glass ornaments using a torch. Each student will receive Glaskolben to make 10 ornaments and you can select your own frit colors to add interesting effects to your ornaments. Carved Dichroic Pendant

Dichroic glass can be expensive but it can add a lot of color to fused glass in jewelry making. It is different from regular glass in that it may contain multiple colors and changes color with the light. Even if you are a beginning glass artist, you can make a colorful dichroic fused pendant with little to no experience. You will customize your piece in the supplies you choose.
