Kundalini Yoga

Expand your consciousness with Kundalini Yoga! Improve your physical, emotional and mental well-being as you practice fun, yet challenging exercises. Each class will consist of different physical postures, breath work, meditations and relaxation/stress relieving techniques. Learn positive affirmation mantras and mudras (hand positions). Beautiful music will enhance your experience. You will be taught by certified, experienced teacher, Madeline Hernandez, according to your individual needs and goals. Once you try it, you will be hooked! Wear comfortable clothes. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel, a pillow or cushion and a water bottle to each class.

Water Exercise - Deep Water

This high intensity, no-impact workout, held in the indoor Walker Pool, focuses on cardiovascular conditioning muscle toning and overall body strength. Bring your own aquatic belt, water weights or gloves. No swimming skills required. Water temperature remains constant to 78- 82 degrees. Purchase a punch card that will allow you the flexibility to attend the classes that work with your schedule. Punch cards may only be used by the purchaser. Punch cards issued July 18 through December will expire December 14, 2017. All punch card sales are final. No refunds will be issued for partially used cards. You must bring your punch card with you to each class in order to participate. Don't forget: You can purchase a punch card and start class at any time during the semester. The punch card system allows you to make your own schedule so you can come and go to class as you please.

Water Exercise - Shallow Water

This exercise class held in the indoor Walker Pool is low impact, moderate intensity and a lot of fun. Tone up with this well-balanced workout that blends water exercise and strength training. Bring either noodle or belt/weights to class. Aquatic exercise shoes are highly recommended because you will be in shallow water (3-4 ft). Water temperature remains constant to 78- 82 degrees. Yoga for Seniors

Stretch, breathe and relax in this wonderful class designed specifically for seniors. You will strengthen your physical body, learn easy meditations and enjoy doing Kundalini Yoga with licensed instructor Madeline Hernandez. All postures are offered with modifications for your own individual needs and goals. You may sit in a chair or bring a cushion. Wear comfortable clothes. Bring a water bottle, yoga mat and blanket to each class.
