Guided by Kit Myers and her experienced gingerbread angels at gingerbreadworkshop.com, you'll tell your own family story in gingerbread. This two hour instructional workshop includes step-by-step guidance, from assembly, to decorating and even landscaping. Kit has done all the planning, baking and shopping so you can focus on creating memories with your family. All materials, including hand molded gingerbread, candies and recipes are included in this workshop. All you need to bring is your imagination. Tuition covers gingerbread house and materials for one child and one adult - please enroll under adult's name.

Senior Tai Chi (50+) Beginning
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese system, translated as the "Supreme Ultimate Force". It is generally safe for people of all ages and levels of fitness. This program is most likely to suit older adults as compared to other fitness programs. It is basically a physical exercise of slowly flowing movements (meditation in motion) that focuses the mind, while conditioning the body. It is said that one who practices Tai Chi for 20 minutes a day dissipates stress and reduces stress-related debilities, increases stamina and strengthens the body and will. Balfour Wright is an experienced Tai Chi instructor.

Heartsaver First Aid & CPR
This First Aid & CPR course is designed for members of the general community who want to learn the skills & techniques needed to recognize emergencies and perform basic first aid. Students will learn how to perform the lifesaving skills of CPR in adults, children and infants, how to relieve choking, how to administer an Epi Pen and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). The highly effective video-based instruction format enables students to experience case-based scenarios in a realistic setting. Upon course completion, students will receive a two-year certification card from The American Heart Association.

Defensive Driving
This class stresses the mastery of the rules of the road and the basic mechanics of driving. Its aim is to reduce the risk of injury while driving by anticipating dangerous situations, despite adverse conditions or the mistakes of others. This class is approved by the State of Texas for ticket dismissal. Students will also be able to apply for a 5% discount through their auto insurer. Eric Goodson has an extensive background in driver safety training and over 10 years experience as an automobile accident investigator.
