Yeast-raised dough recipes are so easy to make, delicious to eat and really economical. In this hands-on class you will learn how to make mouth-watering Frosted Cinnamon Buns and English Muffin Loaves, plus sample Italian-flavored Foccacia. Yum! You will take the Frosted Cinnamon Buns home to bake. Bring a square or round cake pan, metal preferred, plus a meat thermometer if you have one. A $10 food fee payable to Josie Kerr, instructor, covers ingredients, samplings, and recipes. Class starts promptly at 6:15 p.m. so be on time.

Computer Genealogy
In the first two sessions, you will learn how to perform effective genealogical research on the internet. Work with both paid and free sites and learn what actual documentation is available on the internet. The final three sessions will include learning about the different kinds of genealogy database software, concentrating on Family Tree Maker and Clooz. The operation of each software will be demonstrated. Students will be contacted by the instructor proir to class time with instructions on what information to bring with them. Earline Long-Zlotkowski is certified with the National Genealogical Society in Arlington, VA.

West Coast Swing is a popular, intricate dance done to rhythm and blues or slow rock and roll music. Part of its charm is the variety of patterns and styling which can be used. We will keep things simple by starting with the five basic steps and how they relate to one another, before moving on to their variations. Herbalist, horticulturalist and designer Diane Lewis will discuss the herbs best suited to this area and show you how to incorporate them into your everyday life. You'll find out how to cultivate, harvest and store them and you will have fun learning how to make a relaxing tea blend and bath salts to take home. You will also tour the herb garden at the Botanical Garden. A $10 food fee payable to the instructor covers cost of herbal tea, bath salts and an herbal-based sack lunch (recipes provided).

Every Imagine Tomorrow® class combines a fun learning adventure with sophisticated technology concepts in a creative way that teaches your child to use computers as a tool. Children work on laptops using Imagine Tomorrow® software that is custom built for each lesson and adjusts to your child's academic and technical levels. Classes are software based, and parents receive an online password to access lessons learned for reinforcement at home. Classes have a 1:5 ratio with laptops and instruction is provided by KidTech Computer Classes. A $20 supply fee is payable to the instructor the first day of class.
