Enjoy the natural fall beauty of the Texas Hill Country at Lost Maples State Park. Join a guided four-mile hike through rugged limestone canyons, across plateau grasslands, and along clear streams. Meet at Exxon Tiger Mart, Bandera Road (TX 16) and Loop 1604, at 8 a.m. sharp and plan to caravan or car pool. Bring lunch, a camera, rain gear, and drinking water and wear comfortable, sturdy shoes. Some parts of the trail are slippery and/or strenuous. $6 per person park entrance fee is extra. Led by Phil Starr, an avid outdoorsman and hiker.
